When I first saw this shaded side path leading to the water and the Naples Pier, I wanted to paint it. The Gulf of Mexico in Naples, Florida is known for its warm, fun beach days. It is a popular destination for tourists and locals to take in the beauty and relax.

In Path to Paradise 3'x4' Oil on Linen, my inspiration was to express the essence of the contrasting shadow and sunlit areas while portraying my feelings associated with an enjoyable day at the Gulf.
