It is with great honor that Dianna learned this painting had been selected for inclusion into Apero's Fine Art Collection January Catalog 2020 under the theme of Experience. Selected works may be viewed at https://www.showapero.com

Dianna painted Courtyard Rendezvous 16x20 oil while participating in Canvas on Third, a two-day plein air fund raiser benefiting Paws Assistance Dogs and Friends of Foster Children Forever. Thirty one artists filled the 3rd Street South area of Naples creating artwork for these two important charities. The completed works of art were auctioned off at a special event two days later. The weather was quite warm and sunny both days and Dianna was very happy to be standing in the shade. As she painted, there were many friendly people stopping by to see her work and chat. Dianna was reminded how enjoyable it is to see people interested in watching what artists do.

To Dianna's surprise, 'Old Naples Living' magazine decided to use a photograph of Sandra Gladden on the cover of their April 2018 edition displaying two paintings she purchased on the night of the auction, one of which was Courtyard Rendezvous. This painting captures the busy morning gathering at Ridgway's Cafe just off Third Street South.
