I painted the seagulls in Daily Haunt, oil on linen because I was struck by their regular hang out on the exposed seaweed next to Mañana Island, Monhegan. The sun was getting lower in the sky casting a warm glow onto the sun bathing area. For now, the white birds flocked together co-existing, stretching, preening and flying while the gentle breeze of the day worn on.  Plein air painting with a studio finish.
