Along the Atlantic coast, beaches, rocks and ocean merge in a symphony of music.  Reed State Park, Maine in Georgetown is filled with scenic views and is a place that is worth exploring. In this Plein air study, I was inspired to paint the interaction of the foreground rocks with the water. Specifically, in the way the light reflected on the center of interest and was subdued as the water receded to the horizon line.
