I painted Red on Peach 9x12 oil as a gift for my daughter's birthday. Since her birthday is so close to Mother's Day, she always seems like a gift. With her in mind, I wanted to create a warm key painting. My interest was in the contrast between the red roses and the soft light on the peach cloth.  Happy Mother's Day!
