It was sunny, cool and not too windy, perfect for painting outdoors so Dianna decided to return to the Naples Botanical Garden to complete a couple of paintings previously started. She was aware of a lot of people scurrying around, setting up for a wedding to be held the following day. As Dianna was packing up to leave, three ladies from the group quietly came over to inquire about her work, Waterlilies at the Botanical Garden8x10" oil. When they saw her painting, they decided to purchase it as a wedding present for the bride and groom who would be married there the very next day. The entire transaction took place very quickly and discretely so the bride and groom would not be aware of what just transpired. What a nice story for the couple to tell as the years go by.
