Across the line of trees hiding the Connecticut River, Dianna's en plein air painting portrays a farm in Bradford, Vermont.  "It was so hot out that day that I thought I would melt" during the painting process."  You know that kind of muggy summer day when the afternoon would bring thunder showers. Dianna's goal in this painting was to capture the atmosphere which was heavy with moisture blurring the distance farm and hills behind.
