Dianna painted Dories, Perkins Cove because she has always been drawn to the line of boats tied up in a row visible from the deck of Barnacle Billy's Restaurant in Ogunquit, Maine. She was inspired by the way the light was hitting the boats stating "the afternoon light was perfect." This painting was selected as one of the images featured in the advertisement for  The Whitney Galleries in Wells, Maine in The Art Guide 2016 for South Coast Maine and Seacoast New Hampshire. The advertisement was also in the 2016 Ogunquit Playhouse Playbill.
