The inspiration for Arbor Walk happened when Dianna visited the Botanical Garden in Naples, Florida and walked through the arbor covered with purple flowers.  Who does not love wisteria whether it is Florida's version named Queen's Wreath or the Northern variety? Several days later Dianna returned, set up her easel and began to paint. "It was a gorgeous morning and the light on my subject was very sublime. I was hoping to make the painting inviting enough for the viewer to imagine walking through the arbor."  Dianna added the finishing details in the studio.
